PHILLIPS — The Sandy River Ramblers will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Phillips Area Community Center, 21 Depot St. They will bring their unique blend of bluegrass/country/folk music. The Ramblers feature the fiery instrumental stylings of Mandolinist Dan Simons and Madrid’s own Bud Godsoe on banjo, as well as three-part vocal harmony by Julie Davenport, Stan Keach and 14-year-old prodigy Dana Reynolds.

The band also features Keach’s original songs about Maine from their critically acclaimed CD “Cry of the Loon” and other original songs about Maine.

Admission cost $10 for adults. Refreshments will be available at intermission. The concert will benefit the Community Center.
