WATERVILLE — Three people were taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after the driver of a Honda exited from an entrance-only driveway at Johnny’s Selected Seeds on College Avenue, police said.
The Honda Civic collided with a Jeep that was traveling south, according to Sgt. Brian Gardiner, of the Waterville Police Department. The accident happened about 3 p.m. Tuesday on the Waterville-Fairfield line in front of the Huhtamaki factory.
No charges are expected in the accident, he said.
The driver of the Honda, Caroly Propst, 39, of Vassalboro, and her husband, David Propst, 43, were taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Thayer Center for Health after the accident. The Jeep driver, Ashley St. Amand, 32, of Clinton, also was taken to MaineGeneral.
