Anson Fireman’s Association recenlty announced the winners of its Embden Pond Ice Fishing Derby, held Feb. 20.
Adults
Togue: Brian Derico, placed first, 9.55 pounds, $150; John Niles, second place, 5.34 pounds, $100; and Brad Wing, third place, 4.04 pounds, $50.
Salmon: Jeff Chase, placed first, 3.01 pounds, $150; Brian McAnespie, second place ,2.605 pounds, $100; and Brian McConnell, third place, 2.505 pounds, $50.
Brook Trout: Wade Chipman, first place, 0.145 pounds, $150. No entries for second and third place.
Children
Togue: Trevor Brockway, placed first, 3.02 pounds; Nash Landry, second place, 2.985 pounds; and Jonathan McLaughlin, third place, 2.950 pounds. Each received a pack basket and five Max traps.
Salmon: Andrew Hayden, placed first, 2.1 pounds, pack basket and five Max traps. No entries for second and third place.
Brook Trout: Evan Nichols, placed first, 0.14 pounds, pack basket and five Max traps. No entries for second and third place.
