Authorities continued to search Monday for a missing 21-year-old Maine Maritime Academy student who was last seen in Orono near the Penobscot River on Friday night.

Local police and the Maine Warden Service are collaborating to try to find David Breunig of Westbrook.

Breunig was last seen in Orono after a late night gathering with friends. Game wardens say they have searched the Penobscot River via air, water and land to try to find him.

On Monday, a team of roughly 60 people searched for Breunig, including the Maine Association for Search and Rescue and Maine State Police – both with K-9 teams, WCSH-TV reported. A Maine Marine Patrol aircraft and a helicopter from the Department of Conservation were also dispatched.

Lt. Dan Scott of the Maine Warden Service said they were focusing on all of the remote wooded areas, as well as the Stillwater and Penobscot rivers, according to the Portland TV station.
