MANCHESTER, N.H. — A judge has set bail for a New Hampshire man accused of swinging his toddler daughter over a fence 20 feet above the Merrimack River and photographing her.

WMUR-TV reports a judge on Wednesday set bail at $5,000 cash for Matthew Jordan of Nashua.

A police officer had said he saw Jordan swing the girl over the fence near the river last December. The officer said Jordan let her go and had her hold onto the rails as he took a photo. The officer said he yelled for Jordan to take hold of the child.

Jordan denied the allegations, saying he never left his daughter alone.
