NEW PORTLAND — Western Mountains Baptist Church will host its fourth annual Sliding Party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12. Snowmobilers will be available to haul children and their adults back up Gilmore Hill after they make their way down the hill. Participants are encouraged to dress warm and bring their own sled.
After sliding, an open fire will be available at the church for participants to warm up. There will be hot dogs and marshmallows to cook on a stick. Hot chocolate and other goodies will also be available. This is a no cost for this fun family event.
