The Kennebec Valley Garden Club is accepting applications from those enrolled in horticulture, conservation or allied fields, according to a news release from the club.
The Barrows Fund Scholarship, ranging from $500 to $1,000, will be based on scholastic ability, financial need, civic contributions and acceptance to an accredited school. Applicants must reside in Kennebec County. Application deadline is April 30, 2016.
Applications may be obtained from area school guidance offices and student financial aid offices.
