Westbrook police are investigating the death of Brian Lutz, 36, who recently moved to 183 Central St.
Police Chief Janine Roberts said Westbrook Public Safety personnel were called to the address around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Emergency responders unsuccessfully tried to revive the man, who was unresponsive. He died at the scene.
The state medical examiner’s office has been notified and will try to determine the cause of death. The preliminaries investigation indicates a heroin overdose.
