PITTSTON — Pittson Fire Department will host an open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Pittston Village Fire Station, Route 194. Refreshments will be served.

Children can have their picture taken in the truck, spray water from the fire hose, use firefighting tools, and wear the firefighter’s gear.

Free fire prevention items will be given out while supplies last.

Street address green reflective house number signs will be for sale and the fire department will come put it on owner’s street side mailbox or post for free. Signs are 18 inches by 16 inches with a house number on both sides. All proceeds will go towards fundraising efforts of the Pittston Fire Association.

This is not a Maine School Administrative District 11 sponsored event.
