The Skowhegan Free Public Library and the Bloomfield Garden Club will host a free Garden Fever Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Library, 9 Elm St.

Gardening experts will present four workshops: growing vegetables, cooking with herbs, flowering shrubs and perennials.

Participants should bring their own lunch, beverages and desserts will be provided. There is no charge to attend, but preregistration would be appreciated.
