Portland police are investigating the death of a young woman who reportedly died Sunday inside a home in the Nason’s Corner neighborhood.

Lt. Gary Hutcheson said police were called Sunday afternoon to a home at 25 Meriline Ave., which is located off Brighton Avenue.

Hutcheson identified the victim as a 26-year-old woman. Police are treating it as an unattended death, and the cause of the death is under investigation by the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
