Maple Tree Community School, an independent school serving kindergarten through eighth grades in Readfield, will hold two spring open house events for prospective students and their families from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 26, and Saturday, April 30, with a brief presentation at 10:30 a.m.
Now in its fifth year, the school offers an innovative and multiage education to students from the greater Readfield area. In addition to a rigorous academic curriculum, defining features of the educational program include a focus on experiential learning, weekly exploration/immersion days, and rich and deep engagement with science and social studies.
The school building, the former Readfield Grange, is at 12 Church Road. For more information, visit www.mapletreecommunityschool.org, or call 242-3014.
