WATERVILLE — A Growing Rice in Maine presentation, by Ben Rooney, is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in Room 142 of the Diamond Building of Colby College. The event is sponsored by Sustain Mid Maine Coalition’s Education and Community Outreach Team, according to a news release from the team.
Participant can learn cultivation, processing, wetland mimicking and paddy systems on homesteading and commercial levels at the free event.
