HALLOWELL — April’s Second Sunday event, “Getting Warped: An Introduction to Basic Weaving” with textile artist Jayson Hunt, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at the Harlow Gallery, 160 Water St.

The public is invited to explore weaving with Hunt and learn simple weaving structures. Play with color and texture as you craft a simple strap, belt or band. No loom needed.

Hunt has been working with fabric and fiber since he was a child. He dabbles with watercolors and is a strong supporter of the spoken word.
