What is happening to the United States of America?
The past few months have been like a rerun of Germany in the 1930s. When Hitler was campaigning for chancellor, he made fantastic promises, ethnic insults and threats, and had riots. The people cheered him. What a mess he made.
Some of us older people remember those days.
It’s hard to believe today a presidential candidate in America uses this method of campaigning. It’s even more unbelievable that citizens of the United States would believe the promises, insults and threats. Many go against our laws, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution.
Did the supporters of this candidate not go to grade school and high school? Or maybe they missed American history classes, or their school didn’t teach history.
The United States of America is great and can no doubt be greater. If our president and Congress would try to unite the people and provide the opportunities we have always had.
