The Augusta Nature Club will hold its regular luncheon meeting at noon Wednesday, April 27, at Capital Area Technical Center, 40 Pierce Drive, in Augusta.
Cost is $6; RSVP required. A brief business meeting will follow. The program will be “Nature: Up Close and Personal” presented by Melanie Lanctot.
Lanctot, a newly-minted Maine Master Naturalist, will present photographic close-ups of some of her favorite subjects, some so tiny they are easy to overlook, but all marvelous in their unique beauty and place in the natural world.
