Bruce Dyke, Wilton Fish & Game member and caretaker of the Wilson Lake Ice Out Contest, documented the official ice out after patiently keeping a watchful eye on the activity of the ice for the last 48 hours.

The ice went out at 2 p.m. Monday, April 10. Nine participants picked April 10 as the day of the ice out. Wendi Smith, of Farmington, had a close guess of 1:32 p.m. April 10.
