Hannaford Supermarkets is advising consumers with nut allergies that three cookie products sold from its in-store bakeries might include an ingredient that contains peanut, which is not listed on the product packaging.
Consumers with a nut allergy should not consume these products, according to a release from the Scarborough-based company. The products can be returned to the store for a full refund. There is no specific date associated with this advisory, said a company spokesman, and no illnesses have been reported. The items are:
• Gourmet Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, 11oz – 6 pack, UPC#4126872715
• Candy Cookie Tub, 16 oz – 24 count, UPC#4126875484
• Assorted Cookies, 37 oz. – 18 count, UPC#4126875535
