The rain that fell across central Maine resulted in several athletic event postponements.

Here are some changes:

• The Hall-Dale and Winthrop baseball/softball games were both postponed. The baseball game will be played Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in Winthrop while the softball game will be played May 12, also at 3:30 p.m. The Hall-Dale and Dirigo tennis matches were also postponed to May 12.

• The Gardiner-Mount View baseball/softball games were rescheduled for Thursday in Thorndike. Both games will start at 4 p.m.

• The Monmouth-Lisbon baseball/softball games were postponed with a makeup date to be determined.

• The Nokomis-Spruce Mountain baseball/softball games were rescheduled to Saturday in Newport at a time to be determined.

• The Winslow-Gardiner tennis matches were postponed to May 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Gardiner.

• The Winslow-Erskine baseball/softball games were postponed to Saturday in South China. The games will begin at 2 p.m.

• The Waterville-Lincoln Academy tennis matches were postponed to Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Waldoboro.

• The Mt. Blue-Bangor softball/baseball games were postponed to Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Bangor.

• The Dirigo-Madison baseball/softball games were postponed to Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Madison.

• The Cony-Oxford Hills baseball/softball games were postponed to Wednesday in Augusta.
