Stan Pinnette recently received the Community Service Award for 2016 from Victor Grange 49. A person or organization that demonstrates the true meaning of community spirit is chosen yearly. This year Pinette was chosen for his commitment and dedication to the community. Pinette and his family have been a big part of the central Maine theatrical world since 1992. The Pinnette family is always in the background selling or collecting tickets, ushering or supporting from the audience.

Students at Lawrence Junior High School can usually count on them dishing out pizza at the cast party. Pinnette is an accomplished actor and has performed in many plays at the Waterville Opera House, ACAT Theater, Lakewood Theater, and the Theater at Monmouth. He is the current Lawrence Junior High School drama director and has also directed plays at Lakewood.

Pinnette has won awards for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and is a Member of Lakewood’s Hall of Fame. He and his family give unselfishly of their time and support to the Victor Grange’s Dinner Theater, which without then would not be possible.
