Terry Berry, Democratic candidate for the open Senate District 14 seat, has received the endorsement of the Maine Association of Realtors.
“Safe and decent housing is the most basic of human needs,” Berry said in a news release from the association.
Berry, a Realtor, has been involved with the Maine Association of Realtors for more than 30 years. The Maine Association of Realtors represents more than 4,300 members, who are involved in all aspects of real estate in Maine.
Senate District 14 consists of Chelsea, Farmingdale, Gardiner, Hallowell, Manchester, Monmouth, Pittston, Randolph, Readfield, West Gardiner and Winthrop.
Berry is one of two Democrats seeking the seat being vacated by Earle McCormick, R-West Gardiner. Berry will face Shenna Bellows, of Manchester, in the June 14 Democratic primary.
