On June 14, Democrats in Senate District 14, (Chelsea, Farmingdale, Gardiner, Hallowell, Manchester, Monmouth, Pittston, Randolph, Readfield, West Gardiner and Winthrop) will be voting in a primary. My wife and I will be voting for Shenna Bellows for state Senate.

She has the energy and the experience working in the Legislature to successfully bring together Democrats, Republicans and independents to advocate for a number of important issues, and as retired state employees, we know Shenna will be a champion for us. There are many state workers and teachers in our district and Shenna will fight against the attacks on our pensions and support those currently working under difficult conditions.

Shenna Bellows, the daughter of a carpenter and a nurse, understands the issues of working families; she has our backs. Hopefully, we will have her back on June 14.
