AUBURN — Will Weeks, Connor Smith and Austin Pelletier each scored two goals to lead the Messalonskee boys lacrosse team to a 10-7 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win over Edward Little.

Spencer Frenn scored three goals and Isaac Cote added two to lead the Red Eddies.

Messalonskee improved to 6-2 while Edward Little dropped to 4-4.

WINSLOW 14, OXFORD HILLS 6: Jimmy Fowler finished with five goals and three assists as the Black Raiders picked up a KVAC win in South Paris.

Sam Lambrecht, David Selwood and Jake Houghton each scored twice for Winslow (3-3) while Evan Dart scored once.

Finn Williamson had four goals and an assist to pace Oxford Hills (2-7).

LINCOLN 7, ERSKINE 5: Thomas Coombs and Nate Simmons each had two goals to lead Lincoln (3-5) to the KVAC B win in South China.

Josh Reed had three goals for Erskine (1-8), while Jake Peavy made 15 saves.

Max Pacholski and Caleb Tyler also scored for Erskine.

MORSE 10, OAK HILL 9: Declan Hall had three goals and three assists to lead the Shipbuilders to the win in Wales. Cameron Marco also scored three times and assisted on two more scores.

Steven Gilbert and Marcus Bailey each scored three goals for the Raiders, who got a 14-save performance from goalie Brandon Michaud.

Bryce Harlow, Gabe Bergeron and Adam Lapointe also scored for Oak Hill.

BASEBALL

VALLEY 4, RANGELEY 3: Cody Laweryson pitched two scoreless innings in relief of Luke Malloy and added two hits — including a double — to lead the Cavaliers to the East/West Conference victory in Rangeley.

Collin Miller had two singles for Valley (6-1) while Ricky Thompson had two doubles for the Lakers (5-3).

RICHMOND 9, BUCKFIELD 3: Brady Johnson had a pair of hits and drove in three runs to lead the Bobcats to the win in Richmond.

Tyler Soucy went five strong innings on the mound, scattering three hits and striking out four to pick up his second win of the season. Matt Rines had a double as part of a four-hit day, while Soucy aided his own cause with three hits and two RBIs for Richmond (5-4).

Nate Vintinner and Brendan Emmons each had two hits in the win.

Buckfield (5-7) got a solo home run from Rolfe Dunne.

BANGOR 8, CONY 1: Derek Fournier struck out nine in a complete-game effort as Bangor bested Cony in a KVAC A game in Augusta.

Trevor Delaite paced the offense for Bangor (12-0) with two singles. Riley Boivin drove in Connor Perry from second with a single with two outs in the seventh for the lone run for Cony (5-7).

SOFTBALL

RICHMOND 14, BUCKFIELD 2, 5 innings: Catcher Sydney Tilton had a solo home run and a triple, and the Bobcats scored 10 runs in the second inning en route to the victory in Richmond.

The Bobcats (10-0) pounded out 13 hits in the win, as Kalah Patterson collected a double and a triple and Autumn Acord had a double and a single. Cassidy Harriman also had two hits in the win.
