The Skowhegan Rotary Club recently donated $2,000 to the Skowhegan Community Food Cupboard with money raised at a Rotary Movie and Dessert fundraiser held in conjunction with Strand Cinema in February.

The Rotary District 7790 also provided a matching grant for a portion of the money raised. The funds will be used to purchase new refrigeration and freezer equipment for the food cupboard.
