ROCKLAND — Erskine scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning, all with two outs, to rally past Oceanside for a 5-4 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B baseball win Friday.

Zack Glidden tied the game with a two-run single and Nick Turcotte followed with an RBI double to score Glidden and put the Eagles ahead. Glidden also picked up the win in relief, while Turcotte, Luke Peabody and Dylan Presby led Erskine (10-3) with two hits apiece. Nick Mazurek went the distance but took the loss for Oceanside (10-2).

MESSALONSKEE 5, MT. BLUE 1: Jared Cunningham had a double, a single and three RBIs to spark the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Dylan Brown chipped in with two singles for Messalonskee (7-6).

Mt. Blue (2-11) was led by Ryan Pratt and Corey Rogers with two singles.

MARANACOOK 6, LEAVITT 3: Chris Florek collected two RBIs and three Black Bear pitchers kept the Hornets off the board after the first inning to lead Maranacook to the KVAC B win in Turner.

Jason Brooks collected two hits and pitched the seventh inning to earn the save, while Kent Mohlar also had two hits for the Black Bears (7-5).

Leavitt fell to 6-7.

MONMOUTH 9, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 7: Nick Sanborn’s two-run triple highlighted a four-run third inning, and the Mustangs held on for the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Hunter Richardson had three hits for Monmouth (13-0). Chandler Harris had two hits and scored two runs.

For Mountain Valley (4-9), Jon Adley and Garrett Garbarini each had a pair of hits.

MT. ARARAT 3, CONY 2: Nick Merrill singled home Eddie Van Note with the winning run with no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Eagles to the KVAC A victory.

Mt. Ararat improved to 6-7 while Cony dropped to 5-8.

ST. DOMINIC’S 2, HALL-DALE 0: The Saints turned a hit batter into a run in the first inning and tacked on an unearned run in the third inning to take the MVC win in Auburn.

Ryan Sinclair pitched three innings of two-hit baseball with four strikeouts for Hall-Dale (9-2), and Cole Lockhart came on in relief and pitched three hitless innings.

Gavin Bates tossed a complete game, two-hit shutout for St. Dom’s (11-2).

SOFTBALL

OAK HILL 3, TELSTAR 2: Grace Sabine’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted the Raiders to the win in Wales in a matchup of two of the MVC’s top teams.

Brook Surrette homered for Oak Hill (12-1), while Jamie Prue went 3 for 4 at the plate with an RBI. Emma Hlister, who scored the winning run, had a double and a triple in the win.

Telstar dropped to 11-2.

OCEANSIDE 6, ERSKINE 0: Ari Curtis and Alexis Mazurek each doubled to pace the Mariners to the KVAC B win in Rockport.

Oceanside improved to 12-0. Erskine fell to 7-6.

CONY 12, MT. ARARAT 5: Alexis Couverette had a three-run home run and a single to spark the Rams offense in a KVAC A win in Topsham.

Sydney Cheever added two singles and three RBIs for Cony (10-3) while Allee Cloutier chipped in a double and a single.

Kayla Temple had a double and a single for Mt. Ararat (7-6).

HALL-DALE 23, ST. DOMINIC 0: Becca Ackerson threw a no-hitter as the Bulldogs earned the MVC win in Auburn.

Ackerson struck out eight and walked two. Hall-Dale (9-4) broke the game open with six runs in the third inning and nine runs in the fifth. Ackerson had three hits, while Grace Begin and Justine Drappeau each had two hits for the Bulldogs.

The Saintsdropped to 2-11.

MONMOUTH 5, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2: Haylee Langlois’ two-run single in the fifth inning propelled Monmouth to an MVC win in Monmouth.

Emily Kaplan added a double and Mariah Herr two singles and an RBI for the Mustangs (6-7). Emily Chasse struck out eight and scattered seven hits to pick up the win in the circle.

MESSALONSKEE 7, MT. BLUE 1: Kirsten Pelletier struck out 15 while allowing just five singles and one unearned run as Messalonskee defeated Mt. Blue in a KVAC A game played in Oakland.

Hannah Duperry had three hits, including a double, and Sarah Labbe added a home run for the Eagles (12-0-1). The Cougars dropped to 3-10.
