3:48 p.m., James Noyes Clifford, 49, of Augusta, was arrested on a probation hold after suspicious activity was reported on Water Street.

Saturday at 8:04 p.m., Marcia Irene Tripp, 32, of Gardiner, was arrested on charges of violating conditions of release, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failing to report an accident by the quickest means after a hit-and-run traffic accident was reported on Main Avenue.
