The Winthrop Memorial Day parade will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, May 30, starting at the top of the hill at Peck Farm Road, proceeding down Main Street, with a ceremony and rifle salute at Union Street.
After the ceremony the parade will continue to Norcross Point.
The parade, hosted by the Winthrop Alfred W. Maxwell Jr. American Legion Post 40, will feature the Winthrop High School Marching Band, Winthrop Fire and Rescue, American Legion Post 40 Color Guard, and American Legion Riders.
All veterans, Legionnaires and other Veteran’s service organizations, active duty, National Guard and Reserve Military personnel are invited to participate in the parade in uniform. Staging of the participants will begin at 9 a.m.
