OAKLAND — The Oakland Masons held their Books for Bikes drawings recently. Students who read books at their reading level were able to enter for a chance, for each book read, to win a bike. There were eight students who won a new bike, helmet and T-shirt. All students received a bookmark celebrating reading.
Those who names were drawn to win bikes were Simon Pelletier, Hannah Phair, Ashley Mullen and Ethan Glueck.
The mason who held the event were Travis Wood, Jeremy Kaherl and Dana Wrigley.
