Police in Fairfield and Waterville Thursday afternoon briefly searched for a man who’d reportedly pulled a gun on his sister, but called it off when it was determined it was a BB gun and the sister didn’t want to press charges.
Emergency dispatch reports were that a man on Main Street in Fairfield, shortly before 4:30 p.m., had pulled a gun and then walked away.
Police in both communities looked for him, but Fairfield police shortly before 5 p.m. said the search was called off, and confirmed the man had a BB gun and the sister didn’t want to press charges.
