The city of Augusta’s Bicentennial Nature Park for Augusta residents and guests will open for the season Saturday, June 18. The park will be open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. seven days a week. There will be a nominal charge to Augusta families and individuals. Season pass and daily admission information is available at the Park office or at Buker Community Center.

The park offers swimming, picnicking, hiking, fishing, scenery and wildlife such as loons and osprey on the lake.

The park’s entrance is located on Route 3.
