FARMINGTON — The Healthy Community Coalition will sponsor summer activities for school-aged youth in Franklin County through the Carol M. White Physical Education Program Grant, according to a news release from the coalition.

Programs are offered for free through grant funding for students in Regional School Unit 9, School Administrative District 58 and Stratton schools. Several area partners have been engaged to offer a variety of physical activity opportunities throughout Franklin County.

The Strong School will host a summer program that will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, July 12-28, for children entering grades 1-5.
