DAMARISCOTTA — Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center’s “We Sustain Maine” Summer Benefit Dance is set for Saturday, July 23, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Darrow’s Barn at DRA’s Round Top Farm, Round Top Lane, Upper Main Street, Business Route 1. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The Blake Rosso Band, a four-piece band, will play a blend of old-time standards, rock and roll covers and original music.

Tickets, available by calling 563-1363 or stopping by Spectrum Generations, Coastal Community Center, 521 Main St., are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets can also be purchased at King Eider’s Pub and Sherman’s Maine Coast Book Store in Damariscotta. All proceeds from the dance benefit the programs, services and activities offered at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center that help seniors, their family member and disabled adults maintain independent and healthy lives.

The event also will include pub grub style summer barbecue with beer and wine available for purchase prior to the concert and during intermission. Stone Cove Catering, a group of culinary artists, will begin serving at 5:30 p.m.

The center’s “We Sustain Maine” summer benefit dance is sponsored by Ames True Value Hardware in Wiscasset, Colby and Gayle, and The First.
