FARMINGTON — DDG Bookseller’s annual Where’s Waldo in Farmington Prize party will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 31. The event will mark the release of the eighth Harry Potter book “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”
Throughout the month of July, local Downtown Farmington businesses have been participating in this Where’s Waldo in Farmington event.
Each of the 23 stores that participated hid a cardboard cutout of Waldo somewhere in their shop. Each day, children searched for him so they could win a chance at getting Waldo prizes at the closing party.
Some of these prizes include a limited edition button for everyone who found Waldo in 10 stores, and a Grand Prize of a complete six-volume set of Waldo books courtesy of Candlewick press.
The prize drawing will be accompanied by a cake, Waldo activities and contests, and a special appearance by Waldo himself.
