Shirley Lapointe, of Skowhegan, learned early this year that cancer was diagnosed for a second time. Where there was no promise that they could get it all, and gardening would be out, she decided to enjoy working in her perennial flower gardens and pots of annual flowers instead. She is always on the move, takes no medications, and feels good.
