National Alliance on Mental Illness Maine offers classes that offer insight on mental health conditions, current treatments and therapies, problem solving and communication skills, coping strategies for worry and stress, and advocating for a family member.

The free, confidential programs are set for 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesdays, starting Sept. 6, at NAMI, 1 Bangor St., Augusta.
