LITCHFIELD — Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival is set Aug. 24-28 at the Litchfield Fairgrounds, 30 Plains Road.

The Blistered Fingers Kids Academy which has a free, relaxed, informative three-day music program for children ages 6-18. The focus is how to play, sing and perform bluegrass music. Students should bring their own instruments and commit to the three-day program. The children will perform a couple of songs as a group on Main stage.

The gates will open at 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 21. Weekend tickets for each festival will cover four days of music and camping from Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday Morning Gospel Sing Along and Jam.

Performers include: Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, The Gibson Brothers, Band Of Ruhks, Nothin Fancy, The Baker Family, Zink & Company, Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters, Phat Burger Deluxe, The Zolla Boys, Original Condition, Bluegrass Gospel Sing & Jam, and Blistered Fingers,

Tickets available at gate cost: $10 per day for Earl Bird Camping (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before festival; $85 for all four days with camping; free for children younger than 16 with a paying adult; $15 Wednesday and Thursday only; $30 Friday only, $25 after 5 p.m.; $30 Saturday only, $20 after 5 p.m.; free Sunday with weekend pass; $10 dogs; $30 power0 for entire stay.
