AUGUSTA — The Unitarian Universalist Community Church will host a Fabulous Flute Repertoire of the 20th Century concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at 69 Winthrop St.

This is the first in a series of four concerts planned for the coming months.

Krysia Tripp, who plays flute, will perform with pianist Bridget Convey selections from the music of Debussy, Gieseking, Glanville-Hicks and He.

Tripp has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe. She collaborated with musicians such as Pavarotti, Peter, Paul & Mary, the Brubeck Brothers and Andrea Bocelli.

Convey has performed piano selections nationwide as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician. She serves on the faculty of Bates College and maintains a private studio.
