The Waldo County Extension Association will partner with North Branch Farm to hold its annual meeting from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the farm at 122 Stream Road in Monroe.

WCEA provides local guidance to the University of Maine Cooperative Extension for developing and implementing educational programs that will benefit Waldo County residents while strengthening Cooperative Extension’s overall mission.

The public is encouraged to participate in the annual meeting that will include a tour of North Branch Farm to learn about its innovative farming and marketing techniques. In addition, the WCEA will vote in new members and officers, vote on the 2017 budget request, and adopt some revisions to its by-laws.

Light refreshments will be available. For more information about the budget request or changes to the by-laws, or to request a disability accommodation, contact Rick Kersbergen at the Waldo County office at 800-287-1426.
