AUGUSTA — MaineGeneral Hospice Volunteers of Kennebec Valley will offer three support groups this fall at the Alfond Center for Health. Each group will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
• General Loss Grief Support Group will meet Tuesdays for six weeks starting Sept. 20. This group is for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. This program offers participants the opportunity to explore feelings of grief and loss in a safe, supportive peer setting.
• Survivors of Suicide Loss Grief Support Group will meet Wednesdays for eight weeks starting Sept. 21. This group is for adults who have had a loved one die by suicide. This program offers participants the opportunity to explore feelings of grief and loss in a safe, supportive peer setting.
• Grief After Death from Addiction Grief Support Group will meet Wednesdays for six weeks starting Sept. 28. This group is for adults who have had a loved one die from the misuse of drugs and alcohol. This program offers participants the opportunity to explore feelings of grief and loss in a safe, supportive peer setting.
