In a Washingtonpost.com story Tuesday, Press Herald political reporter Scott Thistle was asked about the possible resignation of Gov. Paul LePage.
“I think some of the recent stuff has thrown even LePage’s strongest supporters’ confidence in him into question,” Thistle said.
Earlier Tuesday, LePage had apologized on WBUR FM for his threatening voice mail message to Rep. Drew Gattine.
In an interview with “The Fix,” Thistle was asked about the apology on a radio show, the risk for Republicans choosing to stand behind LePage and what it’s like to report on the governor.
