The Skowhegan Craft Brew Festival is set for 2-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, in downtown Skowhegan.

The event will feature an array of Maine craft brewers, local food vendors featuring farm-to-table fare, three live bands, guided river walks along the Kennebec, and tours of the Somerset Grist Mill and of Skowhegan’s section of the Langlais Art Trail.

Live music lineup

Golden Oak, a folk group from the Western Maine foothills whose genre-bending tendencies make them an emerging musical force, will perform from 2 to 3 p.m.

The Muddy Marsh Ramblers, a Portland-based band known for their high-energy, unique style of bluegrass and dynamic repertoire, is set for perform from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Dave Mello Blues Band will play from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Tickets cost $60 in advance or $65 at the door for VIP admission, $40 in advance or $45 at the door for general admission, or $10 in advance or $15 at the door for designated drivers.

Proceeds will support ongoing revitalization efforts in Skowhegan.

Event is rain or shine, no one younger than 21 will be admitted.
