Gardiner Area High School will host a College Planning/Financial Aid Night at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in the ATM room.
Guest speakers will include Jennifer Lanphear, College Access counselor with the Finance Authority of Maine, Shirley Yankura, with the Maine Association of School Financial Aid Administrators, as well as Susan Folsom and Rachael Pelton, professional school counselors at the high school.
Topics to be discussed include the process of applying for financial aid, which has changed dramatically from previous years, and the various forms involved, offering ways to help students achieve their college goals, and the preparation, selection, application, and decision-making process.
