WINSLOW — Sidney Martin scored on a breakaway with 17:48 left in the game to give the Maine Central Institute girls soccer team a 1-0 victory over Winslow in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Friday afternoon.

Audrey McCannell made nine saves for MCI (1-2-0).

Broghan Gagnon stopped four shots for Winslow (1-2-0).

BOYS SOCCER

WINSLOW 5, MCI 0: Junior Jake Warn scored twice to lead the Black Raiders to the KVAC B win in Pittsfield.

Mike Wildes added a goal and an assist for Winslow (3-0-0) while Matt Phillips and Nick Tiner scored the other goals. Jake Lapierre made two saves.

Aidan Peacock stopped 16 shots for MCI (1-1-1).

WATERVILLE 3, MOUNT VIEW 1: Zaharias Menoudarakos, Ethan Cayer and Adam Livshits each scored a goal to lift the Purple Panthers to the KVAC B win in Thorndike.

Peter Mayhorn, Jack Lloyd and Cayer had one assist apiece for Waterville (2-1-0). Jackson Aldrich made seven saves.

Shaynen Schofield scored for Mount View (0-3-0).
