VINALHAVEN — Meranda Martin scored three goals to lead the Richmond girls soccer team to a 7-0 win over Vinalhaven in East/West Conference action Saturday.

Caitlin Kendrick added two goals for Richmond (3-0-0). Destiny Anair and Ashley Brown also scored. Sydney Tilton and Kennedy Chandler combined for three saves in the shutout.

Jillian Davis-Oakes made 12 saves for Vinalhaven (0-2-0).

OAK HILL 5, MT. ABRAM 0: Anna Dodge and Cassidy Tibbetts combined on the shutout in net, and Oak Hill took the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Sydney Drew, Sam Weeks, Alicen Gilbert, Eliza Whisenant, and Rylea-Mae Swan each scored for Oak Hill (2-1-1). Abigayle Brackley and Hailey Walker combined for 13 saves for Mt. Abram (0-3-1).

WISCASSET 3, HALL-DALE 2: Gabby Chapman scored the game-winning goal with 23:09 remaining in the game to lift the Wolverines to the MVC win in Farmingdale.

Grace Webber scored the other two goals for Wiscasset (3-1-0). Lindsay Gordon made 11 saves.

Addie Davis had a goal and an assist for Hall-Dale (1-2-1) while Sabrina Freeman had the other goal. Maggie Gross made six saves.

MONMOUTH 9, BOOTHBAY 0: Emily Grandahn scored four goals to lead the Mustangs to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Monmouth.

Haley Fletcher had a goal and four assists for Monmouth, which improved to 4-0 with the win. Audrey Fletcher scored two goals and assisted on three others.

Jackie McLoon made 10 saves for Boothbay (1-3).

MT. ABRAM 4, OAK HILL 0: The Roadrunners had four different goal scored and held Oak Hill to one shot on goal to earn the Mountain Valley Conference win in Wales.

Sam Storer had a goal and an assist for Mt. Abram (2-1-1). Sean Allen led the Roadrunners’ stout defense, while Xavier Romanoski needed to make just one save for the win.

Oak Hill falls to 1-2.

FIELD HOCKEY

MESSALONSKEE 5, OXFORD HILLS 1: Lydia Dexter had a goal and two assists as the Eagles downed the Vikings in KVAC A play in Oakland.

Kaitlyn Smith scored two goals for Messalonskee (3-2). Hannah Pinney made three saves for the win.

Ciara Hamlin scored for Oxford Hills (3-1). Anna Huff had eight stops for the Vikings.

COLLEGE

Taylor Lovley, a Nokomis grad, had a goal and an assist in Husson’s 5-3 field hockey loss to Springfield. Cony grad Arika Brochu added a goal while Skowhegan grad Mikayla Toth chipped in with an assist. … Richmond graduates Kelsea Anair and Autumn Acord each scored a goal in Maine Maritime’s 8-0 women’s soccer win over the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
