A report of a stabbing Friday afternoon in Chelsea resulted in the arrest of six people, including the stabbing victim, on various charges, including some that stemmed from police discovery of illegal drugs.

Troopers from Maine State Police Troop D responded to the 3:58 p.m. stabbing report, going to 1127 Eastern Ave. in Chelsea, according to a state police statement, but the suspects were found on Barber Road in Randolph.

Police arrested Tatyana Tomlinson, 20, of New York state and charged her with aggravated assault and being a fugitive from justice, based on an extraditable arrest warrant from New York state. They also arrested Lindsay Traynum, 31, of Sidney, who was charged with misuse of a public Instrument and violating conditions of release. The stabbing victim, Jasmine Swift, 27, of Chelsea, was treated at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta and released.

During the investigation, troopers found heroin and drug paraphernalia in a vehicle that was parked in the driveway at the Chelsea site and known to be driven by Swift, police said. That discovery prompted troopers to get a warrant and search the vehicle and the residence, during which they found and confiscated more heroin and drug paraphernalia. The vehicle searched in Chelsea was registered to Courtney Peaslee, 24, from Hill Street in Farmingdale, who was Swift’s roommate.

After Swift’s release from the hospital, she was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a schedule W drug — heroin.

Also, a high-risk search warrant was executed by Troop D and the Maine State Police Tactical Team, with assistance from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agnecy, at 36 Hill St., Apartment D, in Farmingdale, which yielded just over 12 grams of heroin, some marijuana, cash from suspected drug proceeds and numerous amounts of drug paraphernalia that indicated drug trafficking. Police arrested Peaslee, 24, of Farmingdale; Megan Woodcock, 19, of Randolph; and Wendell Bazemore, 30, of New York state. Each was charged with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs — heroin. Peaslee also was charged with violation of conditional release.
