FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will present a Legislative Candidate Forum Breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, in the North Dining Hall at the University of Maine at Farmington.

The event will give Legislative candidates an opportunity to answer questions to show the community what they are about and how they view issues they would face in office.

Featured speakers will include: Sen. Tom Saviello, R-Wilton; Joanne Dunlap; Rep. Russell Black, R-Wilton; Guy Iverson, Rep. Thomas Skolfield, R-Weld; Barbara Chassie, Lance Harvell, Scott Landry, Keith Cornelio and Christine Riley.

The chamber has asked the candidates to be prepared to speak about what they feel is the most critical topic facing Maine today and what should be done about it. Candidates also will be asked their opinions regarding MaineCare expansion and Maine’s income, sales and property tax.

Glenn Kapiloff, Franklin County Chamber of Commerce president, will be the moderator. Questions will be taken from the audience as time allows.
