WATERVILLE — Will Paradis had a hat trick, including the game-winner three minutes into the second overtime, to lift the Temple boys soccer team to a 5-4 victory over Islesboro in a Class D game Monday at Thomas College.
Bradley Smith added two goals and an assist for Temple (4-0-0). Tim Larson made 10 saves.
Juan Lasa, Finn Gibson, Finnian O’Mallia and Sage Kelly each scored a goal for Islesboro (2-3-0).
FIELD HOCKEY
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 3, HALL-DALE 1: Kassie Thibodeau, Breanna Burgess and Chelsea Allison each scored a goal to lift the Falcons (3-4) to the MVC win in Rumford. Alyssa Athers made eight saves.
Jill Whynot scored an unassisted goal for Hall-Dale (1-6) while Kaylee Magee made nine saves.
