AUGUSTA — A volunteer scribes information session will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 6, at Lithgow Public Library. The event is part of the Maine Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association Volunteer Scribes Program.

This free program will feature college students who interview and write the life stories of participants. In turn, participants help educate future health care professionals about Alzheimer’s. This program is open to eligible individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias, and their care partners.
