WATERVILLE — To celebrate National Novel Writing Month, Waterville Public Library will host a series of Write-Ins through November.
Write-Ins are events writers can meet and work on NaNoWriMo projects.
The events are set for 4-6 p.m. Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 in the Barlett Room for Teens, but are not age restricted.
NaNoWriMo is a seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On Nov. 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 30. Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, the event is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.
