Monmouth Fire Department dedicated its fleet of four apparatus to two former and two current members of the Monmouth Fire Department on Oct. 2.

The ceremony was held in front of Cumston Hall during the the town’s annual Fall Harvest Sale. All four dignitaries have a combined 209 years of service to the town.

Honored were Capt. Dan Niles (51 years), Capt. (ret.) Everett Palleschi (50 years), Chief (ret.) Paul Fox (56 years) and Chief (ret.) Laurence Folsom (52 years), Chief Dan Roy and Assistant Chiefs Ed Pollard, Pat Smith and Ken Palleschi.

All eight stood in front of the two new engines that were recently placed into service this past summer.
